Institutional Development, Partnerships & Knowledge
Strong institutions, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based knowledge systems are essential for delivering sustainable and scalable development impact. In Bangladesh’s complex humanitarian and development context, no single organization can achieve lasting change alone. Collaboration, learning, and institutional strengthening are therefore central to effective programming.
Impact Initiative (IMI) focuses on strengthening institutional capacity, building strategic partnerships, and promoting research-driven programming. Our approach enhances organizational effectiveness, supports local actors, and ensures that interventions are informed by evidence, innovation, and continuous learning.
In the Next Five Years (2026–2030), Impact Initiative (IMI) Will Focus On:
- Strengthening strategic partnerships with the government, NGOs, private sector, and development partners.
- Expanding consortium-based programming for improved coordination and collective impact.
- Building institutional capacity of CSOs, CBOs, and local organizations in governance and management.
- Enhancing transparency, accountability, and resource mobilization capacity of partner organizations.
- Promoting applied research and evidence-based decision-making across all programs.
- Strengthening monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems.
- Supporting innovation in data collection, analysis, and knowledge management.
- Disseminating research findings to inform policy, programming, and development practices.
- Strengthening collaboration with academic and research institutions for joint studies and learning.
Ensuring that all IMI interventions are guided by evidence, learning, and continuous improvement.
