MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Executive Committee Board members, dedicated staff, volunteers, partners, and community stakeholders whose commitment and hard work have made our achievements possible. Your continued support inspires us to do more and reach further.

At this important moment in our journey, Impact Initiative (IMI) has been strengthening its commitment to building a just, inclusive, and resilient society in Bangladesh since 1995. While we continue to respond swiftly to humanitarian crises with emergency relief, our focus has increasingly expanded toward sustainable recovery, community empowerment, and long-term development throughout this over-30-year journey.

Guided by our vision of an inclusive environment where youth—especially young women, men, and persons with disabilities—actively participate in decision-making, IMI is prioritizing programs that promote equitable opportunities, economic empowerment, and social justice. Over the next five years (2026–2030), we will intensify our efforts in education, healthcare, TVET, food security, livelihood, climate resilience, safe water and sanitation, civic engagement, protection, Child development, gender response, disability inclusion, fair elections, and youth skills development. We will also invest in innovation, research, and locally driven solutions that strengthen community resilience and inclusive governance.

Bangladesh continues to face complex challenges, including climate vulnerability, inequality, and the ongoing needs of crisis-affected populations. In this context, IMI remains dedicated to reaching the most marginalized, ensuring protection for children and vulnerable groups, and fostering peacebuilding and social cohesion across communities.

“As we move forward, I warmly invite our partners, donors, supporters, and well-wishers to join us in advancing our shared vision. Together, we can empower communities, reduce poverty and inequality, and create pathways toward dignity and self-reliance for all.

Impact Initiative stands at a pivotal point, reflecting on our journey while shaping a stronger, more inclusive future. With your collaboration, we are confident that IMI will continue to make meaningful and lasting impacts in the lives of the people we serve.”
